- Shared screen with speaker view

18:03
Sorry Ericka, we cannot see the participants. I also haven't found how to change my name ...

18:21
no

18:23
NO

18:57
It is the planned setting but it would still be very good if we can fix this for the next sessions.

19:17
this is not so much a webinar but a community event

19:38
noty that you can do anything about that now ;)

19:43
Hello and thank you. What are the linkages between the IATI initiative and UN Women corporate initiative of the transparency portal? Will there be increased requirements for UN Women to report on IATI?

22:48
My question: when it comes to data of local organisations, I'm curious about two things: what is your impression on data quality there? How much of it is actually usable? And second: network data is important here, so leveryone in the 'chain' linking to donors and implementing partners. do we know how that is going?

23:09
How to publish data about local implementing partners taking into account the responsible transparency considerations and "do no harm" approach?

27:14

27:25
thanks siem

27:27
Thanks Siem

28:36
👍

29:02
Is Canwach data IATI compatible? I do not see this data in the IATI datapool (Registry)

31:10
Hi Thea: we did some research into activity and organisation "linking" - my blog on this is here: https://www.publishwhatyoufund.org/2021/11/aid-delivery-chains-organisation-networking-and-the-new-networked-data-indicator/

31:32
Thanks Alex! Will definitely read that

32:14
thank you, Alex! you folks at PUblish What you Fund have done such interesting work in these areas.

34:11
This is us: bikescouts.org

34:31
Siem, Imaeyen can provide more info but in case we run out, I can say that CanWaCH data is not in IATI - though well aligned, so we’ve been talking about it

35:44
@alex in PWYF - FCDO is interested in delivery chain mapping in this area, so we will definitely take a look

36:21
Thanks so much Yohanna! That is correct, Siem, we have not linked the Project Explorer to IATI's portal but we follow the IATI standard in how/what data is captured.

40:20
Hi @Michelle - yes, I looked at FCDO in the research, you can see the links to FCDO in the visualisation linked from the blog.

42:07
how to use the data for strengthening resource mobilisation strategy for a local ngo in South Asia?

42:58
There is also a reflex to publish too little, out of an overcorrection to the issue of do no harm

43:00
Communication is tremendously important. We are constantly teaching our colleagues the benefit of evaluation and data-driven decision making

43:27
It's a constant work, internally and externally.

44:27
One thing we also tell our local constituencies is that aside from food, water, and shelter is that information is aid, and the data collection we do helps decision-makers make better decisions when it comes to providing aid, and helping provide aid faster.

45:25
That is well said Lou

45:36
Thank you! 🙂

45:56
Stealing that wording in fact ;)

46:45
I respectfully disagree... In my experience, the quality is what will generate trust in the system and gain buy in from users...

46:46
Haha thanks Anand. I mean to also include completeness, but agree

47:17
Hard to judge it if you don't know the projects or the organisations

47:22
(data quality I mean)

Can all these links be shared in one document after the sessions so we have them for posterity?

I can't hear anyone. If possible to turn back on my audio options, that would be appreciated! :)

01:01:41
Please consider that the UN has guidance on all of that as well. Trying to harmonize OECD and UN has proven challenging and when you add in Grand Bargain definitions which don't line up with either of those, it is a bit of a mess to publish once use often.
