Sharing questions received so far:

01:09:36
Q1: How do climate and disaster risks and conflict set back progress in achieving the SDGs in our region? How is the pandemic affecting the region and its development? How do we advance and fast track in the coming 10 years?

01:09:51
Q2: Thanks on a clear presentation of the major development and climate risks Somalia faces. How yu tackling it? How are we envisioning a mix of actions that will get Somalia better prepared and socially developed?

01:10:31
Thanks to Mr. Loy Rego for raising the above two questions

01:13:55
السلام عليكم ،دياني خديجةدكتورة بالموارد المائية المغربموفقين ان شاء الله

01:14:39
The causes and impacts of Climate and Security both move beyond the boundaries of any given country. Hence, I strongly believe that there has to be a stronger regional solidarity and regional level interventions. As Dr. Mohammad mentioned there is a need for stronger commitment. My question is to all the panelists if there are any concrete regional level interventions to address the climate and security triggered socio-economic impacts on the vulnerable populations.

01:22:32
What progress has been made in implementing the Environment Law 2017 and the Climate change Bye laws in 2019 in Jordan? What is the new Food security strategy being finalised this year?

01:28:58
Could you kindly provide the name of the current speaker/s in the Chat here? Thank you.

01:30:04

thanks for the question. both; the env law and the CC change are both being fully implemented and are now the reference legal framework for CC. As for the food security, we have the final version which is being reviewed nowadays by a national committee and expected to be finalized in 3-4 weeks
