Join us to for the launch of the virtual Finance for Nature Virtual Global Series that aims to raise ambition on nature-based finance in preparation for the Climate and Biodiversity COPs 2021.
The kick-off sessions on 20-21 July 2020, will bring together industry champions from finance, corporations, and standard-setting regulators to raise awareness and drive practical action to finance nature.
The first session will position nature at the forefront of economic recovery from COVID-19, highlighting the critical role nature plays in the long-term well-being of people and the planet. Our expert presenters will champion and showcase how the finance community can work across coalitions to accelerate nature-friendly investments to unlock the climate and biodiversity crisis and ensure green economic recovery.
The second session will provide a rich dialogue on how nature can be embedded as part of ESG risk disclosure processes, as well as offer exciting investment opportunities that deliver for people and the planet.
The Series is delivered by UNDP, UNEP and the Scottish Government-backed Global Ethical Finance Initiative in partnership with the New York Declaration on Forests Global Platform and Climate Advisers.
